Windows problem

Postby claudiu_rem » Wed Jan 31, 2018 7:21 pm

I’ve been having problems with the windows. Sometimes they work fine, sometimes only one will open, or other times none. They open easily. I ckecked the fuses, regulators. It’s really annoying and i can’t fin a solution. Anyone had this problem? Thank you

That seems to do the trick))) . Renault’s electrical problems keep making my days perfect. Any ideas what’s wrong with the windows?

Mine has an intermittent connector where the regulator connects to the door loom. Stops working when left, a tap gets it working and the it stays working.
Gta window motor wiring is simple, take out the switches and use contact cleaner in the plugs, then repeat on the motor connections and the door loom connections in the foot wells.
When you have the doors apart, put a meter on the motor connections.
Standard old car stuff, nothing special...sorry...

I found that opening the switches and cleaning the contacts with contact cleaner inside helped my windows perform better if that helps.
