Sitting in Hotel Parco with the boys (&girls!) enjoying the free wireless internet!

Having enjoyed the hospitality at chez Holt a swift drive round Le Revard (think Italian Job) less digger and tunnel soon saw Mr Crowston's brakes in meltdown! 325mm upgrade methinks

We then played spot the peage on route to Italy. Mr Crowston's wallet was swiftly emptied after the 6th in as many miles (yes seriously). The 90kmh spider roof was then tested thoroughly up to 177kmh

After the rain had stopped and kitted out in full woolies and sunglasses we hit the 200kmh contraflow into Monza where having just narrowly escaped a t boning by a large juggernaut we then got lost spectacularly in true RAOC style. Following several circuits of a completely road signless Monza in complete darkness a motorcylist narrowly escaped death as Mr Holts Spider launched its rear silencer in his direction. Having collected the offending item and apologized to the dazed italian we then contiuned in pursuit of the hotel!

WSR Monza

The hotel is located directly opposite the park gate (circuit) so it was impossible for even RAOC members to get lost this time. However Mr Holt led us in true Le Mans style down several closed roads!

Haivng enjoyed the free Moet & Chandon hospitality (and for the ladies free makeover) we ventured to Milan for lunch and to drop off the ladies for lunch. This was a mistake. Having allowed 2 hours to complete the 7km return journey we excelled ourselves with navigational incompetetence, including highlights such as driving down tram lanes and over pavements in true italian style to complete the journey in 2hours 20mins. Work out the average speed for yourself :? . Arriving back with perfect timing to join the vehicle parade just as it LEFT the circuit! Still there's always tomorrow

Following a few Becks now off to the hotel restaurant to enjoy some Italian cusine. (fish & chips!)

Stephen, did you not have your laptop to connect to your Drive Smart, mine works a treat with Autoroute, full GPS sat-nav as well as all the DS features. A receipe for success.

What I really meant was, sounds like you are haveing a great time, you lucky buggers. :D :D :D Have a drink on me, it's my birthday tomorrow, but not 40.
