Tyre options

Have the correct sizes now , including the apparently nearly-unobtanium-and-worth-more-than-my-house Michelins with approximately a thousand miles on them. Just like new. But wondered, just in case I should keep it, what 16 and 17's others were using; see a lot of photos here and elsewhere with aftermarket wheels. Dont like the look of the stock wheel and would like to be able to have better selection/choices in tyres.
Really appreciate the suggestions above - those Lenso wheels look nice, but naturally arent available over here. Apparently the AZEVs I see quite often are 'nla' also. BBS and Gotti are price prohibitive and BBS doesnt seem to make that style any longer , at least in the size I need.
Open to suggestion[s] and personal experiences.

I went for 16" at the front 17" at the rear (just like the Le Mans, size-wise) on some Azev wheels back in 2000.

I've been using Toyos for the last few years and they've been great. Always ran these sizes:

205/45/16 on front
255/40/17 on rear

My tyres have original section 255 in stock at the moment. Slightly eye watering price....

And I like the way they put 'only' just before the price.

These from Beaulieu Vintage Tyres are somewhat lower in price with free delivery in UK.
Longstone Tyre's do the same ones at the same price but no mention of free UK delivery.

Unless you are driving it in the wet or like you stole it stick on 225 50 15's on. Bish bash bosh.
