Yes looks good but always cautious about cars from auction, The original owner sells to a dealer that knows a lot about these cars and he got all the engine bits ect to restore and he could have made a lot of money but he sells it on, and the the new owner is moving it on pretty quick, with the old to many projects well why buy it in the first place. There must be something that’s going to cost a lot of money that makes it unviable in my mind may be rong, but it’s an expensive way to find out.

I'd not spotted it had been sold by John Price Rallying last year. Does make you wonder why they did not make it concours and turn a big profit.

Made 55,000 can’t see why you would pay that for a project one 70/75 for a minter, that is a big risks minimum 20, to get it up to be worth that and the mileage was high, bet the seller is happy :Butt

I’m sure the seller will be happy. Don’t forget the buyers premium to be added to the sale price. Probably 10% plus vat. So another £6600 on top !

It was rotten and requiring a full restoration. However it was an 8221 homologation car which presumably helped the value.
