its just the day, a mad rush to get there.... unless you do what I normally do (did) and go Saturday night and stay over- get a decent lie in and breakfast- much more enjoyable.
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

Hi all,

This is on Saturday 15th September at Croix.

So, if I go I'll go over on the Friday and stay both Friday night and Saturday night at a really good B&B that Iv'e been staying at for well over 15 years now in Auchy au Bois. This is only 40 miles inland from Calais and about 17 miles from Croix-en -Ternois.

http://www.lescohettes.fr/fr/presentati ... hettes.php

Just need to check work commitments first so that I can get the Friday off...!

Cheers, Barry.

Well.. I can get the Friday off work so I'd better get a Booking Form filled in.
According to the form applications have to be in by 31st August and as I don't have a Eurocheque account I'll send a UK cheque made out in Euros' and offer to pay in cash on the day...!

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the information but I am already provisionally booked in at a B&B that I use.

BUT, can anyone advise me regarding payment. Can I just send the entry form with a note and pay on Euros on the day, also I cant work out what to actually pay. On the form is states:

NON A.S.A.N. 1st Pilote etc 100 Euros plus 18 Euros Repas ( cold lunch at the circuits restaurant)
then it states:
SUR PLACE etc 130 Euro plus 18 Euros Repas

I'm confused and Google translate hasn't helped a lot so any advice welcome.

Thanks, Barry.

Hi Mark & Ian
,
Slight change of plan for me.I have now booked the same B&B Hotel as yourselves for the Friday night.
B&B Hotel
BETHUNE Bruay-la-Buissière
350 Rue Eric Tabarly Parc de la Porte Nord,
62700 BRUAY-LA-BUISSIÈRE

I'm planning to stay in France until the Sunday so will probably book in my usual B&B for the Saturday night as you guys are coming back to the UK after the track day. My plan is to have a leisurely day on the Sunday and get an evening shuttle back to the UK.

So see you at the hotel late Friday afternoon/evening.

Cheers, Barry.

OK Barry, see you there. Probably walk up to the Buffalo Grill in the evening if you want to join us. assuming all goes to plan! (the main reason I always chose this sort of hotel over your nice looking family run types is because you can turn up at all hours- although we should be there nice and early this time- it has been known for me to check in at 3am!).
I will get Stephen to sort out the forms and payment- about time he got his act together on this one.

Hi Mark,
Happy to join you & Ian, and any others that are attending, at The Buffalo Grill for the Friday night.
I did text Stephen about this event and he said he would be posting something soon in the Events Section regarding the forms and payment.
Cheers, Barry.
