Suspension bolts and other parts off to the platers for refinishing. Should be ready for collection in a week or so.

Some slight issues with the replacement SPAX dampers. Strange as the existing fronts were older Spax and fitted correctly.

Top bush was wrong size in the front top eye. Should be the same as the rear. This has now been corrected. Any dampers purchased from Simon Auto will be incorrectly bushed.

New rear dampers are shorter than originals.

Supplied platform is too small for springs.

The solution is to hammer off the old platforms and reuse so don’t throw away your old dampers!

Front tie bar threads were U/S and new bars are not available.

Old threads were cut off and new ones welded into the tube as per the originals.

Found some new old stock front discs on ebay. Here they are test fitted to the hubs.

Tie bars came back from blasting and plating and have gone to the powder coaters now.

Just got these tie bars back from the powder coaters and test fitted the new bushes.

Very pleased with how they turned out but it was quite a lengthy process!
