Lee.....you dont need anything other than some washers to open the rear glass.....and a stanley knife to cut away some of the rubber. Mine sits about 11/2 cm open. What are you planning with the side ducts?

Washers :shock: cut me rubbers :shock: far to heath-robinson :lol: Gorgeous teardrop ali swing arms to allow reset to original fit 8) Bling Innit 8) There's room to get 3 to 4 off 16mm holes thro the rear panel joints near the roll bar without damaging any of the structure .

Right now the car is in my garage, ready to be transported to Axel Ress. The new engine is ready in his shop, so when I have a few days of very soon, I will transport the car down there. It's a long way with a trailer :cry:

Lee...I take it youve already junked all your spare wheel nonsense, heat shields and engine cover? 3x16mm holes arent going to do much in the bigger scheme of things......cant the whole thing be cut out? As for the rear glass......as it sits so far above the engine I dont suppose your approach will generate much extra air......in fact having the rear glass shut and the side vents open will probably drag cold air from the vents down and out the back (glass open will just extract the cold air over the engine and straight out..no??)

Dunno what combination will work best yet ,I'l get a fair amount of air in thro the vents even with the small holes + may get more in + it will be faster air .You could cut a long slot instead but the holes will look better and be easier.I want the air to come in and go straight out,no point it sitting there .The glass will be open at the bottom ,I think you open the top :?:

No mine is open along the bottom edge.....its all pointless unless youve junked your engine cover of course.

Long since binned the cover :wink: The boys in the back got a bit cooked when stuck in Milan traffic, the inner glass almost melting :lol:

Not much use on an A310 as only 1 catch. :cry:
