Postby stephendell » Tue Dec 04, 2018 4:31 pm

The Renault Alpine Owners Club are registered for the 6th January Sunday Scramble, tickets are available now from the Bicester Heritage website.

To book Club tickets you will need to visit:

https://bicesterheritage.co.uk/whaton/s ... uary-2019/

Click on the ‘Buy tickets’ button which takes you to the booking page

https://bicesterheritage.co.uk/?ticket= ... le-tickets

Click on the ‘Enter Promo Code’ link towards the top of the ‘Tickets’ block on the booking page and input your club discount code RAOCJA19. The club ticket option will then become visible in the list of ticket options for you to select.

Please note, if the Classic Vehicle ticket is purchased instead of the Club Vehicle ticket, there will not be a space allocated in the club parking display area.

Club tickets sales close at midnight Tuesday 1st January 2019 and are subject to availability.

Clubs attending with 10 vehicles or more may be allocated their own club parking display area. If this number is not achieved clubs will be advised after the ticket cut-off date of Tuesday 1st January 2019.

The RAOC workshop will be open afterwards from around 2.00pm. It is approximately 10 miles from Bicester Heritage.

I'm planning to head to this - weather permitting. Anyone else on here thinking of going?

I hope so but it should be a good day out regardless.

Looks like ticket sales have been extended right up to 5th January but I don’t know if that applies to Club areas.

Thanks Steve.

At least 3 of us in the new Alpines will be attending. I think we missed the deadline for club parking tickets though but will we be able to park in the Alpine enclosure when we get there?

Sadly we didn’t get allocated an official area as not enough people used the code before the deadline.

However you will probably find you can still all park together at one end of the runway or the other. Just keep in touch by mobile re parking if you have each other’s numbers.

All vehicles use the same entrance anyway and as they are all obviously sports cars no one will bat an eyelid. Worst case scenario commandeer a corner of the public parking close to the runway.

See you all on Sunday.

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm not that familiar with the site, where is that relative to the entrance?

Just like London buses!

Many hours were spent discussing the style of the number plates but we all came to an agreement that only the posh London sourced cars were allowed to drive on the continent....

4 x blue Premier Editions today, a black one that I missed and rumours of a white one if anyone else has a photo. Also 3 x A310, a GTA and a Turbo 2.

Lots of pictures on the Facebook page:

I believe there were 5 x blue and 1x black. I didn't see the unicorn white one anywhere and neither did any of my sources!

Plenty of love for the new and older Alpines though from random punters. Lots of thumbs up and people stopping to chat.

Sorry I didn't book through the club code as I wasn't aware of it. My fault. Will know for next time
Good event but I'm sure I only saw half of it.
