Hi all,
I'm normally out in my Alpine A610 somewhere on Drive It Day each year and I recently received the attached from Elaine Jell at Bicester Heritage...just wondered of RAOC were planning to make this a club event this year.
Cheers, Barry.
Dear Barry,
As you may be aware, the Sunday Scramble began as a ‘cars and coffee’ get together amidst the early stages of our restoration works. Five years on and the Sunday Scramble is an event of national repute, attracting enthusiasts from across the UK and Europe, offering the opportunity to explore the former RAF Bicester base, the restored wartime buildings and the specialists businesses based here.
To ensure the Sunday Scramble remains faithful to its original focus on pre-1990 classic vehicles, it has become necessary for Bicester Heritage to review and update the criteria for club registration. Applications for club registration for the 28th April Sunday Scramble on Drive it Day are now open, please see below details of the new criteria for registering for the Sunday Scrambles.
Registered clubs can benefit from:
Discounted club member tickets
Club parking display area (minimum 10, maximum 50 vehicles)
Club listing on the event page of the Bicester Heritage website
Link to your website from the Bicester Heritage website
Two free club marshal tickets
Criteria to qualify for club registration and an allocated club parking display area
A single marque club which includes models with a pre-1990 history
Minimum of 10, maximum of 50 vehicles attending
At least 50% of the vehicles attending need to be pre-1990
A minimum of two club representatives to marshal the club parking area
Publicise the event to your members, encouraging them to use the club code to ensure their booking is included in the club allocation.
