Thanks for the (over) heating responses chaps ... put my mind to rest! Seems to have settled down a bit now ...

Running in ... it’s a pain isn’t it?!

Running in is a pain but worth the wait.
4800 miles in now and nothing beats downshifting for a bend with an open straight beckoning- wiggle from the rear as the tyres bite and then rocket towards the horizon. Still not getting bored of that! The engine is a completely different animal when the full rev-range is available.

Hello! Newbies here from Sydney, Australia.
We impulsively purchased our Alpine PE just after Christmas last year. So we’ve had her for a few months and completely love it! Such as beautiful car to drive.
Have done over 5,000kms at the moment including a very non-direct trip down to Melbourne to see the F1 a few weeks ago.
We’re still getting used to a few things (never owned a turbo before) and making sense of all the information you can access via the monitor, so it’s nice to find so much information from other owners here and realise that most things are normal…

It’s good to know that everyone else seems to be pretty happy with their purchase because it’s quite an exciting thing to be part of. I also hope it continues well for Renault – they took a huge risk and it looks to be paying off.

Here’s a favourite photo from our (very brief) dirt road excursion to get to B&B accommodation out in the bush.

Great Service yesterday at Alpine Glasgow for the “not a recall” items and a windscreen replacement.

Car was a great cruiser on the way down from the North-East and still amazed at how much reaction it gets from other road users.

First chance to see some Pure and Legendes in the showroom . Thise Serac wheels are outstanding.

Still getting to grips with the infotainment system after a winter in the Golf Mk7.5.

Slowly beginning the prep for a September trip to the Alps - Austrian and Italian Tirol.

2 weeks & 500km in, and enjoying every minute. Well worth the 14 month wait, but the running in seems like its been another 14 months already!

Windscreen question: 670km in, I have just washed my Pure for the first time. In the process, I noticed a line running down the windcreen from the black area behind the mirror. The line, 13cm long is only visible viewed from outside the car, when the sun reflects off it, or with a torch in the garage. It looks too uniform to be a crack, being perfectly centred on the windscreen, dead straight down the windscreen, and of uniform width up to the point it abruptly stops. I am hoping this is a 13cm wire embedded in the windscreen for some purpose! Any clues?

Anyone have the non UK sales numbers?

A thread on the FAR mentions sales might be under Alpines targets.

I believe 22 have been sold in Melbourne and one is mine (which I ordered on the Alpine App), delivery is November. I own a 89 GTA which will need a new home. Following the Premiere Edition in the first quarter of 2019 will be the Alpine A110 Pure and Legende Editions.

Hi Alpine a110 Man,

Still looking for sufficient cash to invest in one.
I'm also in Melb,....any feedback on yours re: Dealer support, Servicing and issues since purchace ?

Would really appreciate anything you have to say.

Thanks in anticipation,
