Help with some parts

Postby Hedley » Sun May 10, 2020 3:47 pm

Could anyone help with part numbers and suggestions on where to source a couple of A610 parts? I'm looking for a new coil pack and also the little coolant pump that circulates water through the turbo on shutdown.

Thanks

Both available as Bosch items, you can find them in their catalogue too, the water pump is very standard but on the coil packs, there are some bad aftermarket ones out there, so take advice. I haven't changed either (yet).

Hi Hedley,

The Coil Pack on my 1993 A610 is a Bendix HOM 7700 732 263.
(Interestingly the same ignition coil by SIEMENS had the same identical Green coloured label and numbering but has Siemens on it and the Renault Diamond instead of Bendix.)

According to the Service History I got with the car the coil pack was replaced by the previous owner some 15 years ago with this coil pack and its still working fine. I also inherited a Lucas version of this with some spare parts that looks brand new new but I would agree with Lee and always go for a good manufacturer.

E Bay is always worth a look and sites such as: https://www.auto-doc.fr/pieces-detachees/oem/7700732263
list this ignition coil from a number of manufacturers but you can use the HOM 7700 732 263 numbers to search with. This coil park was fitted to a number of Renault's so you should be able to find one.

Again Lee Crowston at RATS and John Law at J.L. Engineering make have these on the shelf so worth a call.
Sorry cant advise on the coolant pump as I've never had any problems with mine...to date!

Cheers, Barry.
